Netgear WAX618 Overview
Manage a multitude of smart devices and network connected equipment across your business or home with the WAX618 AX3000 Wireless Dual-Band Access Point from Netgear. Designed for residential and commercial installations, this Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point supports the 160 MHz channel, which allows it to deliver total throughput speeds of up to 3 Gb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. Simply connect the WAX618's 2.5G Ethernet port to a PoE+ compatible switch to transfer both data and power over a single cable. Alternatively, you can plug in a separately purchased 12V DC power adapter. A convenient wall and ceiling mount is included. Use the Netgear Insight service to configure, manage, and monitor your network.

Enterprise Class Security
In addition to WPA3 wireless encryption, you can protect your network by designating up to eight SSIDs, each with its own VLAN control, to separate access privileges between employees, guests, and other users.
