The Jury Is Still Out
This projector has great color rendition and is very bright. The lens is fully motorized and has wide range to adjust the focus, vertical and horizontal position, including the zoom to fill the screen and also the keystone adjustment. However, there is a built-in test pattern, which can be used to adjust the focus, but does not seem to be as crisp as I expected with actual video content. From what I have learned, this could be the result of the HDR 4K pixel shift technology. The focus seems to be soft and uneven across the screen. I will try adjusting sharpness and contrast to calibrate against a full screen still video image test pattern, to improve. The remote control is very robust in that most all adjustments are accomplished from the remote control. Overall so far I do like this projector.

Great projector
My previous Epson projector died after about 10 years. It was a 1K (HD) model but still a very good unit. This new projector is so strong with the contrast and the robustness of all the colors and being able to do it even brighter (non cinema mode). 4K is fantastic as it brings so much detail to the entire scene. Testing with Top Gun Maverick revealed a new level of detail in the scenes where you can resolve the small items on shelves in the background of a scene. I am very happy and look forward to a new decade with this projector. P.S. This projector serves as our daily use video for TV and movies and its primary sources are Apple TV (4K), and HD Cable box (1080i/720p).
