Receive and convert an incoming HDBaseT signal to HDMI and connect it to a display, screen, or projector with the Omega 4K UHD HDMI/USB-over-HDBaseT Receiver from Atlona. This receiver offers connections for HDMI video with embedded audio, USB, power, audio extraction, CEC pass-through, and IR, IP, and RS-232 control, all over a single HDBaseT connection. It is compatible with signaling and power to/from Atlona Omega series transmitters and Omega Matrix switchers.
HDBaseT is advantageous as it allows for longer cable distances than direct HDMI and USB connections, while carrying other important signals along a single cable. It can receive and output via two USB type-A connectors to provide keyboard and mouse control from a distance up to 330', and it can also provide 2.5W power to each of your USB peripherals. The AT-OME-EX-RX receives signals from up to 330' at 1080p with Cat 5e/6 cable or up to DCI/UHD 4K using Cat 6a/7 cable. You can pass through IP and/or RS-232 control via the HDBaseT connection and output control signaling via RJ45 or via the 3-pin RS-232 output.
Resolutions are supported up to DCI/UHD 4K, and HDCP 2.2 is supported in order to play protected high-resolution content. A power supply is included and the receiver sends downstream power via the HDBaseT connection, so no separate power supply is required for a compatible transmitter that supports PoE via HDBaseT. It can also be powered using an Omega Matrix switch with PoE.

The OME-EX-RX and a compatible Omega Series transmitter or switcher are ideal for soft codec and web-based conferencing applications, with the ability to integrate with computers, cameras, speakerphones, and microphones. They can also provide AV and USB extension for a touch-enabled display, allowing remote PC control at a meeting table or other location.
The OME-EX-RX is not compatible with the Atlona HDVS-300 system for USB extension.
